Brook & Ben’s Blue Mountains Wedding

Here’s a special kind of quiet that sits over the Blue Mountains just before a wedding begins—mist lifting, gums swaying, and that soft light everyone hopes for. Brook & Ben’s day at Chapel Hill Retreat had all of it: relaxed morning vibes, heartfelt vows, golden-hour portraits and a reception that turned into a proper celebration under the stars.

The Morning: calm, coffee, and close friends

Brook spent the Morning with her closest people, unhurried and all smiles. Details were kept minimal and elegant—fresh blooms, classic jewellery, and a dress that moved beautifully in the mountain breeze. Over at Ben’s, the boys leaned into crisp tailoring and a few laughs to settle the nerves. No fuss—just intention and good energy.

The Ceremony: views for days

Set against those sweeping Blue Mountains outlooks, the Ceremony was sincere and straightforward. A few happy tears, a lot of laughter, and that look the moment they saw each other—zero performance, all heart. Their vows felt like them: grounded, playful, and grateful.

Portraits: chasing light through the gums

Post-ceremony, we wandered the grounds, using the avenues of gum trees and open paddocks as our canvas. Chapel Hill gave us everything—clean lines, textured greens, and that soft, diffused mountain light. Brook & Ben slipped into an easy rhythm; we stepped back and let the moments unfold. (Yes, the kookaburras chimed in—perfect timing.)

Reception: story, connection, celebration

Inside, the styling leaned warm and modern—candles, layered textures, and an effortless palette that let the space breathe. Speeches landed, the first dance floated, and once the formalities wrapped, the dance floor filled fast. The kind of night where you don’t check the time—you live it.
