What we're seeing so far.
As we've reviewed your questionnaire and updated reception timeline, these are the areas we want to pay particular attention to as we refine the final flow of the day.
The transition from church to Cardea.
The biggest timing pressure point remains the period immediately after the ceremony.
Guest congratulations, family photographs and travel to Barangaroo all need to happen before your portrait time at Cardea begins.
We'll review this together during your Final Planning Session so the afternoon feels calm rather than compressed.
Cardea should be protected.
Cardea is one of the parts of the day you're most excited about.
The architecture, waterfront setting and uninterrupted time together will likely become one of the visual anchors of your wedding day.
Protecting enough time here will make a meaningful difference to the flow and feeling of the afternoon.
The reception builds in energy.
Your reception timeline moves from entrances, speeches and formalities into champagne tower, first dance and confetti rain.
Later in the evening, the energy shifts again through Greek dancing, plate smashing and the final celebration moments.
This gives the night a strong natural rhythm — structured early, then increasingly energetic as the celebration opens up.
The moments shaping the atmosphere of your day.
Some moments appear on every wedding timeline. Others are uniquely yours. These are the moments we're already paying close attention to because they'll help define how the day feels and how you'll remember it.
The ceremony. The speeches. The first dance.
What often shapes the experience of a wedding are the moments in between — the anticipation before the ceremony, the quiet moments together, the conversations with family and the celebrations that unfold naturally throughout the day.
These are the moments we'll continue paying attention to as we prepare for your Final Planning Session.
Areas we'd like to refine together.
Most of the major pieces are now in place. These are the final details we'd like to review together to ensure the day feels calm, structured and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Small adjustments to timing, transitions and expectations can often have the biggest impact on how the day unfolds.
We'll review these details together during your Final Planning Session and make any refinements needed before the wedding.
