Planning Session
Wedding Planning Proposal

Patrick & Lia

Saturday, 13 November 2027

Thank you for taking the time to chat with me about your wedding plans.

After hearing more about your day, it became clear that this is far more than a traditional wedding timeline. From the Macedonian and Greek traditions taking place across two households in the morning, through to your church ceremony, Sydney photoshoot and celebration at Linseed House, this is a wedding built around family, culture and meaningful moments.

The purpose of this proposal is to bring together everything we discussed during our planning session, highlight a few recommendations, and present the coverage options that I believe will allow you to experience, relive and preserve the day in the most meaningful way.

Planning Session Notes

Your day begins long before the ceremony.

One of the biggest things that stood out from our conversation is how much meaning will already be happening in the morning.

Patrick’s Morning
Macedonian traditions in Sans Souci.
Patrick’s morning will include the shaving tradition, bread making, family celebrations and the best man departure to Lia’s home.
Lia’s Morning
Greek and Macedonian traditions in Bexley.
Lia’s morning will include family arrivals, dancing, bouzouki, the shoe tradition, bridal reveal moments and celebrations before leaving for church.
The Bigger Picture
Two households. Two families. One shared story.
Because so much is happening at the same time, the coverage needs to protect both sides of the story without forcing the day to feel rushed or over-managed.
Key Recommendations

A few opportunities worth considering.

During our conversation, a few areas stood out where thoughtful planning can help protect the flow of the day and create a more relaxed experience.

Morning Celebrations

Allow the traditions to happen naturally.

With dancing, family arrivals, the shoe ceremony, bread making, the shaving tradition and the best man exchange all taking place before the ceremony, the morning will be one of the most important parts of the day. Building enough time into these moments allows them to unfold naturally rather than feeling rushed.

Church Timing

Plan for more than just the ceremony itself.

Between the ceremony, guest congratulations, a confetti exit and family photographs, we recommend allowing additional breathing room before moving into the photoshoot. This helps keep the day enjoyable rather than clock-driven.

Photoshoot Experience

Explore something unique to your day.

Rather than simply choosing a popular Sydney location, we discussed exploring more distinctive options such as Mortuary Station or other CBD locations that offer character, privacy and a stronger sense of place.

One opportunity we discussed was using The Grounds before guest arrival to capture additional family photographs around the gardens and courtyard areas. This can reduce pressure at the church while creating a more relaxed family portrait experience later in the day.
Morning Timeline

Two households. Two stories unfolding at the same time.

The morning is one of the clearest reasons we’re recommending two teams. Patrick and Lia’s preparations are not separate “getting ready” moments — they are two cultural celebrations happening in parallel.

Groom Preparations · Sans Souci

Patrick’s Morning

8:30am

Coverage begins.

9:00am – 10:30am

Family arrivals, Macedonian shaving tradition, bread making and morning celebrations.

10:45am

Best man departs for Lia’s home with the shoes.

12:00pm

Patrick’s morning coverage concludes before travelling to church.

Bride Preparations · Bexley

Lia’s Morning

8:30am

Coverage begins with Lia, her bridesmaids and immediate family.

9:00am – 9:30am

Guests begin arriving, with dancing and bouzouki creating the atmosphere of the morning.

9:45am

Parents and bridesmaids begin getting dressed.

10:30am

Lia gets dressed.

11:15am

Best man arrives with the shoes for the shoe tradition.

11:30am

Bride reveal, family photos and more dancing with guests.

12:30pm

Depart for St Petka Church.

The key planning moment is the best man’s movement from Patrick’s home to Lia’s home. This is where the two timelines connect — and why simultaneous coverage is important. One team can remain with Patrick’s side while the second team protects everything happening with Lia, the shoe tradition, the reveal and the final celebrations before church.
Recommended Coverage

Why we're recommending two teams.

With traditions taking place simultaneously across two households, our recommendation is designed to ensure both sides of the story are captured properly from the very beginning.

Team 1
1 Photographer + 1 Videographer
Coverage Time: 8:30am – 12:00am

Bride preparations.
Ceremony.
Congratulations.
Family photos.
Photoshoot.
Reception coverage.
Speeches.
First dance.
Dancing and celebrations through to the end of the night.
Team 2
1 Photographer + 1 Videographer
Coverage Time: 8:30am – Approx. 9:30pm

Groom preparations.
Macedonian traditions.
Ceremony support coverage.
Additional angles during photoshoot.
Reception entrance.
Speeches.
First dance and formalities.
Why This Matters
More than just extra cameras.
The second team isn't simply about additional coverage. It allows both households to be documented properly in the morning, provides multiple perspectives during the ceremony and photoshoot, and creates stronger storytelling throughout the films and photo collection. Most importantly, it allows the day to unfold naturally without forcing everything through a single crew.
Reliving The Day

Every wedding can be experienced in different ways.

During our conversation, we discussed not only how the day will unfold, but how you might want to revisit it afterwards.

Some experiences are designed for sharing. Others are designed for watching together. Others exist to preserve the moments that become more valuable with time.

• Extended Documentary Film
• RAW Photo & Video Archive

Final Thoughts

Thank you.

Patrick & Lia,

Thank you again for taking the time to walk through your wedding plans with me.

The thing that stood out most from our conversation wasn't just the venues or the timeline. It was how much of the day revolves around family, traditions and bringing everyone together.

From the celebrations taking place across both homes in the morning, through to St Petka Church, your photoshoot around Sydney, and the reception at Linseed House, this feels like the kind of wedding where the moments between the moments will matter just as much as the major events themselves.

Whatever option you choose, our goal remains the same: helping you experience the day fully, protect what matters most, and create something you'll genuinely enjoy revisiting for years to come.

I’d love to be part of it.
