That’s why we build for two ways of remembering — a shorter film you’ll share and rewatch, and a full documentary that holds the day end to end, so the small moments between the big ones aren’t lost to memory.

Cultural weddings are a large part of what we do. We know the rhythm of a Greek Orthodox ceremony and where the Lebanese moments land — the zaffe, the entrances, the floor — so we’re in position before they happen, not chasing them.

How Saturday moves

You gave us the shape of the day. Here’s how it moves — and the few moments between the main events that tend to decide how the whole thing feels.

Morning

Two suburbs at once

Rebecca getting ready in Eagle Vale, George in Greenacre — opposite sides of the city, both from 10am. We’d plan around two hours at each house — roughly 10:00–12:00 with George, 10:00–12:30 with Rebecca — then travel, with George at the church twenty to thirty minutes before the 1:30pm start and Rebecca arriving last. The morning is where the day’s only real rush is made — hair and makeup running over, a dress that takes time to close — so we build the buffers in early and keep it calm.

1:30 PM

The ceremony at St Gerasimos

A Greek Orthodox ceremony keeps its own pace — the crowning, the common cup, the dance of Isaiah. It can’t be hurried, and we wouldn’t try; we cover it in full, from both sides of the church.

The twenty minutes that decide the afternoon

The greetings and family photos right after the church are the second pinch point of any wedding day. We run them so you’re not carrying a rushed feeling into the hours ahead.

Afternoon

An open run for photos

You have a genuinely unhurried afternoon before the reception — room for a proper photo session with the light on your side. Late-August sun sits low from around 5pm, which is the window we’ll aim your portraits at. We’ll help you choose locations and lock a wet-weather plan.

7:00 PM – Late

Renaissance, Lidcombe

The entrances, the zaffe, the floor — Greek and Lebanese moments running through to a midnight-or-later finish. This is where both heritages really show up, and where we want cameras in position before each moment lands.

One thing worth flagging: roughly four hours sit between your ceremony and your reception. That’s not dead time — it’s the part of the day most couples under-plan. Mapping it properly is exactly what our planning session is for.

Why your day takes two teams

Both of the options on the next page run two teams. On your day that isn’t an upgrade — it’s the only way the morning works. Eagle Vale to Greenacre is a long drive, and both preps run at the same time, so one crew simply can’t be in both. Here’s how they move.

A photographer and a cinematographer with you from the start of the morning — the details, the dress, the people around you, the last quiet moment before you leave.

Team B

George · Greenacre

A second photographer and cinematographer with George at the same time, on the other side of the city — the groom’s morning covered properly, not caught up with afterwards.

From 1:30 PM — together

Both teams, both angles

The two teams meet at St Gerasimos and cover the ceremony from both sides — one on your faces, one on the room and the families. They stay together through the afternoon photo session, which is where two shooters really earns its place: stills and film of the same moments, from two angles, without either getting in the other’s way.

Through the reception

Where the two options differ

Your lead team stays to the very end of the night, right through the last of the dancing — in both options. The one thing that changes is how late the second team stays on the reception floor. That’s the choice on the next page.

Both run two teams and both keep your lead team to the very end of the night. What changes is how long your second team stays on the reception floor, and how full you’d like the documentary film. My recommendation is The Full Day.
