What You Told Me

The day you described

You found us the way a lot of couples do — working back through the photographers you love and seeing who films alongside them. You’re bringing your own photographer, so what mattered most to you was simple: that the two of us have already worked together, move as one on the day, and let it breathe rather than trading turns.

That’s exactly how we shoot. Your photographer runs the structure — formalities, photoshoot, the fun — and we read off that and catch it as it unfolds, in real time. No “now it’s our turn.”

Room to breathe

You took the earlier ceremony slot on purpose — you’d seen a later start feel rushed at the photo location. An 11:30 start gives you the afternoon to slow down, take your time on photos, and still be back at Novella relaxed.

The morning at Frankie’s

The cars, the bikes, the burnouts out the front — that’s a moment in its own right. A drone overhead at the house and the church arrival is built to catch the scale of it.

Cinematic, never staged

A 6–8 minute highlight that mixes energy with a story-driven pace, carried by music you choose — no dialogue, and nothing old-school or traditional. We settle the exact style together at your creative session.

Kept in full

The full ceremony and the formalities relived as a documentary — the kind of record that earns its value years from now. And every raw file from every camera, handed back on your own drive.

Flow of the Day

How the day unfolds

9:00 – 10:45 am

Frankie — Preparations

West Hoxton. The cars, the bikes and the morning send-off, with a drone overhead.

Running at the same time
9:00 – 11:00 am

Claudia — Preparations

Edensor Park. Getting ready across the morning, ready to leave in good time for the church.

Running at the same time
11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Ceremony

Our Lady of Victories. An hour and a half that carries the ceremony, the walk-out and family moments before we’re out by one.

2:00 – 4:00 pm

Photoshoot

Location to be chosen together. With this much room in the day, there’s time to head somewhere, take it slow, and enjoy it — then arrive back at Novella unhurried.

6:30 pm – 12:30 am

Reception

Novella on the Park. Guests from 6:30, walk-in around seven, with the first dance held back until the light drops. Then the floor to yourselves.

Final timings and locations are refined together as we get closer to the day.

Why Two Teams

Two cinematographers, from the first morning

You and Frankie are getting ready in two different homes at the same time — Edensor Park and West Hoxton. That makes a second cinematographer in the morning the starting point, not an upgrade: one of us with each of you, so nothing in either house is missed, then both of us at the church for the multi-angle coverage. The real question is how far into the night the second cinematographer stays. That’s the lever between your collections.

Team 1 · Fixed

With you all day

One cinematographer — me — from the morning preparations right through to the end of the reception. The dancing, the chaos, the crowd-surfing: all of it.

Preparations → end of reception, approx. 12:30 am
Team 2 · The Lever

How far into the night

A second cinematographer from the morning — the finishing point moves up with each collection:

  • The Essentials Through to the end of the photoshoot
  • Your Day · recommended Through to the end of formalities, approx. 9:30 pm
  • Complete Collection Through to the end of formalities, approx. 9:30 pm

Where the second camera earns its place

The two houses & the churchOne of us with each of you in the morning, then both angles as you arrive and again as you walk out.

The photoshootA second camera to the side, catching the in-between moments while the main frame is set.

Entrance & first danceReveal from behind you as you walk in, the floor from the front — and two angles on the first dance once the light’s dropped.

Ways to Relive Your Day

Every way you’ll watch it back

Four ways to relive the day, each doing a different job — from the clip you share the week after, to the record you’ll still be watching in twenty years.

01

Teaser Film

The Excitement

A 45–60 second cut, delivered within two weeks — in both vertical and horizontal formats, ready to share while the day’s still fresh. Included in every collection.

02

Highlight Film

The Emotion

The film you’ll share — the day’s core moments shaped around your music and your vibe. Yours runs 6–8 minutes, energetic and story-driven, no dialogue.

03

Episode-Length Film

The Experience

A 30–40 minute cut that sits between the highlight and the full documentary — the core moments held a little longer, without the full runtime. An alternative to the documentary rather than an addition.

04

Documentary Film

The Memories in Full

The deepest record — the full ceremony, the formalities, the dancing kept at length. The one that gains its value over time, for the years when you’ll want to sit back and watch all of it.

The Value of a Film

You experience your wedding three times

Before

In the planning

The choices you’re making now — the early ceremony, the unhurried afternoon, holding the first dance for the light. You’re shaping how the day will feel long before it arrives.

The Day

As it happens

The morning at the two houses, the church, the floor once the light drops. It moves fast, and it only happens once — which is why two of us are there for every part of it.

For Life

In the years after

The full ceremony, the speeches, the dancing — kept in full for the years when you’ll want to watch it back with people who weren’t there yet, and remember the ones who were.

Some moments reveal their value only with time.

Delivery & Booking

How you receive it, and how to book

Everything arrives two ways — ready to watch and share online, and handed back in full on your own drive.

How it’s delivered

Every finished film lands in your private online gallery to review, with one round of changes on the highlight and full download and sharing access for three months.

Then, on a hard drive you provide, you get everything — all the finished films and every raw video file from every camera. No USB sticks, nothing held back.

Booking

A A$2,000 deposit secures the date and the crew; the balance is due 10 days before the wedding.

The Early Bird 10% applies with the deposit by EFT or card and the final balance in cash — that’s the pricing shown on each collection.
