What you told me

Understated — but not underplayed.

You've both done a wedding before, so you know what you want this one to be: relaxed, warm, no fuss for its own sake — and still every bit worth marking properly. That's exactly how I'll shoot it.

An 11am ceremony under the gazebo in the garden, lunch in the Rebecca Room, and out by three. Seventy or eighty of your closest people. No bridal party, nothing to over-choreograph — just a lovely afternoon that happens to be one of the most important of your lives.

And when I realised I'd already had the joy of photographing weddings in George's family, it stopped feeling like a first meeting and started feeling like being welcomed back.

The flow of your day

Eleven till three, unhurried.

Getting ready with you
The quiet part — the dress, the details, the calm before. On-site or nearby (more on that next).
10:45 am
George arrives
He said don't make a fuss — so we won't. Just a few relaxed portraits before things begin.
11:00 am
The ceremony
Under the gazebo, in the garden.

Congratulations & family photographs
Hugs first, then the group and immediate-family shots while everyone settles in with a drink.
11:45 am
Just the two of you
A wander through the gardens — and out onto the golf course, buggy and all.
12:00 pm
Lunch begins · the Rebecca Room
Speeches, the little moments, and the room in full swing.
3:00 pm
The day winds down
Happy, and hopefully a little intoxicated.

9:30 am – 3:00 pm, one photographer, the whole day covered. If Oatlands can give you a room on site to get ready in, we simply start at 10:00 — the earlier start is there so travel never eats into your moments, and it's built in at no extra cost.

Where you'll get ready

The one thing to sort out.

You were hoping for a room on site — and you might be right. The adjoining room you pictured isn't there, but Oatlands has an upstairs area, and that's likely what you're remembering.

1

First, the easy win: ask Oatlands whether the upstairs suite is available for you to get ready in. If it is, we start there — no travel, no fuss, and I photograph the whole morning on site.

If it's not available, here are two spots I'd recommend — both about ten minutes from the estate, and both with the space and natural light that make getting-ready photographs quietly beautiful.

Option A

Skye Suites Parramatta

30 Hunter St, Parramatta
~10 min to Oatlandsbright & spacious

Modern suites with room to spread out for hair and makeup and big windows for soft, even light — the easiest kind of room to photograph well.

Option B

PARKROYAL Parramatta

30 Phillip St, Parramatta
~10 min to Oatlandsrecently refreshed

Newly renovated, calm and generous rooms — a reliable, comfortable base to get ready in and an easy run to the estate.

The moments that make it yours

Two or three things only your day has.

01

The golf course

The gate beside Oatlands House opens straight onto the fairway. With George's love of the game, we'll take a buggy out for a handful of frames on the green — you've done it before, and it's the kind of photograph that's unmistakably, only yours.

02

From above

Aerial frames of the estate — the gardens, the gazebo, the two of you small against all that green. It gives the day a sense of place the ground never quite catches.

Weather and airspace on the day permitting.

03

George, quietly

"He asked me not to fuss over him". Fair enough. But a few unforced portraits of him when he arrives — the larrikin, off guard — will be some of the ones you're most glad exist.

Your options

Two ways to hold onto the day.

Photography is the heart of both. The second simply adds the one thing a photograph can't hold — the sound of your vows and the speeches, kept.

A few extras, if they're for you.

CineMotive Socials — The Storyteller

$1,250

A dedicated content creator alongside us for the day, delivering two vertical Reels plus all the raw clips — with the real sound of the day — within 48 hours. It's the version your family can share while the confetti's still out, ready before the feeling fades. Five hours of coverage, matched to your day.

Fine-Art Album

$1,700

A beautifully bound heirloom of the day's best frames — the thing that ends up on the coffee table, not the hard drive. Can be added at any time, including well after the wedding.

Flat price

Second Photographer · the ceremony

$650

A second angle through the ceremony — reactions from the front while I hold the wider frame. Lovely to have, though for a day this size, not something you need.

A note on pricing: the Socials package and the album are set prices — everything else on this page is shown at your referral rate.

Why any of this matters

You'll live this day three times.

Before

The anticipation

The planning, the small decisions, the quiet excitement of choosing to do this — together, again.

The day

It goes fast

Eleven till three passes in a blink. You'll be present for your own wedding, which is exactly how it should be — and I'll be the one making sure none of it slips by uncaught.

For life

What stays

A reel your family shares this week. A gallery you'll return to for years. And — if you'd like it — your own voices from the day, kept for good.

Some moments reveal their value only with time.

In every collection

The things I don't make you ask for.

A full, professionally edited high-resolution gallery
Drone & aerial coverage of the estate
Your own private online gallery to share with family
A full print release — print anywhere, any size, forever
Over twenty years photographing weddings, fully insured
