Preparing for your Family Mini Photo Session with Cinemotive ensures a relaxed and enjoyable experience, resulting in beautiful, lasting memories. Here’s what to expect and how to prepare:
1. Before the Session
Booking Confirmation: Once you’ve scheduled your session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all necessary details, including date, time, and location.
Consultation: We’ll arrange a brief consultation to discuss your vision, preferred styles, and any specific shots you desire.
2. Preparing for the Day
Wardrobe Selection: Choose outfits that reflect your family’s personality. Coordinated colors work well, but avoid overly matching attire. Opt for solid colors or subtle patterns, and steer clear of large logos or busy designs. Ensure everyone is comfortable in their chosen attire.
Rest and Nourishment: Ensure all family members, especially children, are well-rested and have had a light meal or snack before the session to keep energy levels up.
Personal Items: Bring along any meaningful props, such as heirloom quilts, favorite toys, or family-made outfits, to add a personal touch to your photos.
3. During the Session
Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes early to settle in and address any last-minute details.
Session Flow: Our photographer will guide you through various poses and candid moments, focusing on capturing genuine interactions and emotions.
Flexibility: Be open to spontaneous moments; some of the best photos come from unplanned interactions.
4. After the Session
Image Delivery: Within 7 days, you’ll receive access to a personalised online gallery containing all professionally edited, high-resolution digital images.
Print Voucher: Your package includes a $200 print voucher, which you can apply toward our premium wall art collections to showcase your favorite images.
Additional Tips
Weather Considerations: For outdoor sessions, we’ll monitor the weather closely. In case of unfavorable conditions, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost.
Communication: Feel free to share any specific ideas or requests with us before or during the session.
Relax and Enjoy: The best photos come when everyone is relaxed and having fun. Focus on enjoying the time with your family, and we’ll handle capturing the moments.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that life is unpredictable and aim to be as flexible as possible. Please review our updated policy:
1. Rescheduling Due to Weather:
Rescheduling is necessary for outdoor sessions if weather conditions are unsuitable (e.g., heavy rain, hail, extreme temperatures, strong winds). We may need to make this call a few hours before the session. I appreciate your patience and understanding, as this may impact other clients.
2. General Cancellations and Rescheduling:
- Rescheduling: You are allowed to reschedule up to two times without penalty, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Validity: Your session booking fee is valid for 3 months from purchase.
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel entirely, please provide at least 14 days’ notice to receive a 50% refund. Without this notice, the full payment may be retained.
3. Session Timing: Please arrive on time, as late arrivals reduce your session duration. We want you to get the most out of your session, so plan ahead to avoid any stress.
