What You Told Me

Your day, in your words

Before any packages, here's the day as you described it to me — so you know I was listening, and so everything that follows is shaped around your day rather than dropped in from a template.

A Winter Wedding
The 10th of July means the light goes early — close to 5pm. So the plan is to move through the church quickly after the ceremony and reach your photo location while there's still light to work with.
Two Different Mornings
Croydon stays quiet — just your bridal party and parents, the calm you wanted before the day opens up. Luka's morning in North Kellyville runs fuller: live music, platters, the groomsmen around. One team at each home.
Photos Worth Framing
You want structured, editorial frames — especially at the church and on the shoot — the kind you can actually print and hang, not only candids. We'll shoot both, with the editorial ones front of mind.
Gentle Direction
Neither of you loves a camera in your face. We guide lightly — a little posing where it helps, then we step back and let the day happen. Never corny, never over-directed.
How You'll Relive It
A short teaser to share first, a five-minute highlight as the showpiece, and the episode-length film — the 30-to-40-minute cut that felt more your speed. The full documentary is there for Luka if he wants it.
A Moment to Breathe
Somewhere in the shoot we'll stop — a bar or an old-school café, just the two of you for ten minutes. It's often where the most relaxed frames of the whole day come from.
Flow of the Day

How Saturday moves

Here's the shape of the day as it stands. Once you're booked, this becomes a minute-by-minute run sheet — but even now it's what your coverage and your films are built around.

Two mornings, at once

North Kellyville · Croydon
Luka's morning runs fuller — live music, platters, the groomsmen around. Isabella's in Croydon stays quiet, just the bridal party and parents. A team at each home, wrapping around 12:00–12:15.

Ceremony

Our Lady of the Great Croatian Covenant, Blacktown
Around ninety minutes, through to 2:30. We suggest keeping the congratulations line short and doing your immediate-family photos here at the church — it's a good backdrop and it protects the light later.
Planning Note — the winter light
A July wedding has one real timing pinch: last light lands around 5pm. So the moment the ceremony ends, we keep the church greetings and family photos tight and structured and move you out to the location while the light still holds. That single decision is the difference between a relaxed, warm-lit shoot and a rushed one in the dark — and it's exactly the kind of thing we manage for you on the day.

Photoshoot

Location to confirm · a bar / old-school café
I'll build a couple of location options that suit the vibe you're after — with a wet-weather backup — and we'll choose together. Somewhere in the middle we'll stop for ten minutes, just the two of you.

Reception

Linseed House · The Grounds of Alexandria
Canapés from 6:30, your grand entrance and first dance early in the night — the way you're planning it — through to around 11:45. This is where the second team earns its place, and where the next section picks up.
Why Two Teams

Two teams, where they matter

Two teams isn't about doubling everything — it's about being in two places when your day genuinely needs it. For your wedding, that's twice.

01

The morning is in two places

Both homes start at 10. No one can be in Croydon and North Kellyville at once, and a morning doesn't come back. A team at each means Isabella's quiet morning and Luka's fuller one are both captured properly — then both teams converge at the church for a multi-angle ceremony.
02

The entrance & first dance

You're walking in and straight into your first dance, the way most Croatian receptions run. That's the one moment a second angle changes everything: one camera catches you from the back of the room as you move toward the floor, the other holds the front.
Team 1 · Photo + Film · with you all day
Morning Ceremony Photoshoot Entrance & First Dance Rest of Night
Team 2 · Photo + Film · where your collection sets it
Morning Ceremony Photoshoot · by collection Entrance & First Dance · by collection Rest of night → my 3-camera setup
Once the entrance and first dance are done, I cover the rest of the night myself on a three-camera setup — two locked off on the speeches and the cake, one in my hands for the moving, creative shots that make your highlight. So a second team late into the reception is a choice, not a gap.

How far Team 2 runs — to the end of the church, through your grand entrance, or all the way to the first dance — is what separates your three collections. You'll see exactly where in each.

A few things to consider

Why It Matters

You live your wedding three times

A wedding isn't one moment — it's three. Everything on this page is built to look after all three.

I
Before

In the planning

The first time is now. When the timing is mapped and the day has a shape, the lead-up stops being a worry and becomes anticipation. That's the run sheet and the questionnaire doing their quiet work in the months before.
II
The Day

On the day itself

The second time is the day as it happens. Because we're the ones watching the clock — calling when to dress, when to leave, holding the morning and the post-ceremony rush — you get to be in it, not manage it.
III
For Life

For the rest of your life

The third time is every time after — the teaser you share first, the highlight you replay, the episode you sit down to, and the documentary for the day you want all of it. Some moments reveal their value only with time; the films are how you meet them again.

Have a look through, and tell me which collection you're leaning toward — I'll prepare the official quote for you to accept, and lock in the 10th of July. Want to move a line around first? We'll do that together.

And anything else on the day — the car, someone to play at the church, a content creator — just ask. Pointing you to the right people is part of it.
