Nathan & Eliana
Your day, in your words
You found us through family — you’ve watched us work at your cousins’ weddings, and they’ve only ever spoken well of their photos and the team. You’re both after the full package, photo and film from one studio that already knows how to work together.
What set us apart for you was the film: the real, light-hearted emotion of the people in the room rather than a cinematic soap opera — and the way one moment is caught from several angles at once.
Many angles, one moment
You noticed it in our films — the dance floor from the middle and from up high at the same time. At the Linseed House that means a crew in front, a crew behind you as you walk in, and a camera up on the balcony.
The ceremony in full, every speech
Not a selection. The whole ceremony and every speech, kept at real length in the documentary — as you put it, nothing stops you fast-forwarding.
A five-minute highlight
The length you called the sweet spot: every stage from leaving home to the reception, leaning story-driven with a little dialogue and a lift of energy. Music and pace settled together closer to the day.
Natural, never forced
You don’t want a photographer in your faces all day. Like the photographer at Mount Fuji, we keep it light and let you be yourselves — the pre-wedding session is where that clicks.
Colour, black & white, and film
Every image in both colour and black & white, plus 35mm film through the day for the warmth you love in your parents’ photos. Skin tones kept true — if warm light pushes too red, we bring it back in the grade.
The first Saturday after Easter
Both families keep the fast, so you waited for it — autumn, your favourite season. Your date is held, and the same crew you’ve seen at your cousins’ weddings is already pencilled in.
Flow of the day
Here’s the day as it stands today, built around a 1:00 PM ceremony. Nathan’s parents visiting Kingsgrove is pencilled in so you can talk it through with family — if you’d rather meet outside the church, we reshape the morning around that.
Nathan’s preparations
Your parents set off for Eliana’s around 11:15, then your own exit to the church with the boys.
Eliana’s preparations
Coffee and a full house before the dress, then getting ready with your bridesmaids and family. Nathan’s parents arrive around 12:15, and your parents see you leave home.
Ceremony
The stefana, the common cup, the three walks around the table. Immediate family photos afterwards — everyone else you see at the reception, which protects your photoshoot time.
Photoshoot
A shortlist to choose from. Locations that need a permit are marked.
- Lindesay, Darling PointPermit
- Swifts, Darling PointPermit
- Regent Street Station5 min from the Redfern churchPermit
- Vaucluse HousePermit
- Kirkbride, Lilyfield
- Paddington Reservoir Gardens
- Lion Gate Lodge, Royal Botanic GardenPermit
- Hyde Park
Guestlands, your favourite — it can be done
- 2:45 PMLeave the church
- 3:45 PMArrive at Guestlands — about an hour’s drive from Redfern
- 3:45 – 4:45One hour shooting on location
- 4:45 PMLeave for the reception
- 5:45 PMArrive at Linseed House, ahead of the 6:30 start
In late April we lose the light between 4:30 and 5:00 PM, so this timing is built around it: a full hour there while the light is still good. It does mean leaving the church right at 2:45, with immediate family photos only — just as you planned. Guestlands needs a permit. If the drive feels like too much on the day, it’s also a lovely spot for your pre-wedding session.
Reception
Your entrance with the Lebanese drummers, Kimon on the mic and Philoxenia on stage — then the speeches, the cake, the first dance and the dance floor.
Final timings and locations are refined together as we get closer to the day.
Why two teams
Your two mornings run at the same time, close to forty minutes apart — Nathan in Baulkham Hills, Eliana in Kingsgrove. So two teams isn’t an upgrade here, it’s the baseline: a photographer and a videographer at each home, then both teams together at the church for every angle. What changes between collections is how far the second team runs into the night.
With you all day
I’m there personally, from the morning through to the end of the reception (~11:45 PM), alongside a videographer — the same crew you’ve seen at your cousins’ weddings. Three to four locked-off cameras run through the church and the reception, including one up on the balcony, so every moment is recorded in real time while we move for the creative shots.
How far into the night
Straight answer: once the formalities finish, it’s the dance floor — a second team past that point mostly ends up sitting down. That’s why no collection runs Team 2 past ~9:30 PM, and why Your Day is the one I’d point you to. From there, the balcony camera and my handheld work keep the floor covered to the last song.
Your films & your photographs
Four ways to relive the day on film, from a quick share to the full record — and every photograph alongside them. Tap through a real example of each; yours will be shaped around your own moments and music.
Teaser Film
A 45–60 second clip in vertical and horizontal, delivered within two weeks of the wedding — the whole day in under a minute, while it’s still fresh. Included in every collection.
Highlight Film
The film you sit down and share — five to six minutes in Your Day, shaped around your music and the moments that matter most. You leaned towards story-driven with a little dialogue, or something with more energy; we settle that together at your creative session.
Episode-Length Film
A 30–40 minute edit that sits between the highlight and the documentary — the long story with the fast-forward parts pulled out. A fifty-minute ceremony becomes about eight watchable minutes. Available as an add-on to any collection.
Documentary Film
The deepest record of the day, still edited across every camera angle. It comes in three depths — Basic, Standard and Extended. Standard is the one you leaned towards: getting ready at both homes, the whole ceremony, every speech, and five minutes of every dance bracket.
available
Prewedding & Engagement Film
A short film in the lead-up to the wedding — a relaxed way to work together before the day, and a keepsake in its own right.
A Full Wedding Gallery
Usually 1,800 to 2,500 of the best images from the day, sorted by stage — preps, ceremony, photoshoot, reception — with the whole gallery in colour and in black & white. Download it all in print resolution, share it, or use the face finder to pull up every photo of one person.

Add-ons
A few things you can fold into any collection, straight from your quote. Nothing here needs deciding now — some of it is easier to choose after the wedding.
Radiant leather album
You said you’d love something printed. Our most-chosen size — 14″ × 10″ with 40 printed sides. You flag up to 150 favourites in your gallery and we design it from there. Included in The Full Collection, and it can be added any time, even after the wedding.
Episode-Length Film
The 30–40 minute middle ground between the highlight and the documentary — told in order, or as a shorter love story woven around your own words. Here if you find you want something in between.
35mm film photography
Two rolls of film shot alongside the digital cameras through the morning, the church, the photoshoot and the reception — scanned in high resolution, in colour and black & white. Included in Your Day and The Full Collection; extra rolls $250 each.
More of the dance floor
We film the whole night regardless of collection. Once your footage is laid out, if there’s more dancing you’d love to keep, we can extend the documentary in 15-minute blocks.
You experience your wedding three times
Before
In the planning — the run sheet we build around both mornings and the church, a pre-wedding session that feels like a day out rather than a shoot, and the creative session where we settle your music and the feel of your films.
The Day
As it happens — we keep time between the stages, working alongside Kimon and the band. We don’t make the day longer; we make sure you’re present in the time you have.
For Life
In the years after — the teaser and highlight you share now, and the documentary that comes out every anniversary, where the people in the room — your grandmothers among them — become the moments you pause on.
Some moments reveal their value only with time.
