Kyah & Samuel
Your day, in your words
We first met working the same wedding — Chris and Annalise’s — so you already had a feel for how we shoot. This isn’t a cold pitch: you know the vibe, and what you asked for lines up with exactly how we like to work — relaxed, real, and directed only when you want a hand.
One photographer and John on film, moving through the day as a single team — close enough to catch the quiet moments, out of the way enough that the day still feels like yours.
Relaxed, directed when it counts
Sam’s happier when no one’s making a fuss, so we keep it easy — shoot the day as it happens, step in with clear direction when you want it, and never leave you standing there wondering what to do with your hands.
Your kind of city shoot
Not the run-of-the-mill loop. TNs on at Museum Station like you’re headed to a rave, a train through town, the Opera House as the winter sun drops, the old sandstone of the Rocks — the fun shots and the romantic ones, side by side.
Your own vows, just the two of you
The legal “I do” happens at the ceremony. Then, somewhere on the city loop, you say your real vows to each other — only your photographer and John there, at a distance. That’s the moment we build the film’s heart around.
Cinematic, with the fun left in
You didn’t want it all party, and you didn’t want it stiff. So the film leans cinematic where the day is tender, then loosens up and moves once the night gets going — the romance and the mayhem, in the right order.
Flow of the day
Here’s the day as it stands today — a 2 PM ceremony to open up the afternoon for the city, then back for the reception. We refine the exact timings together at your planning session.

Reception
Final timings and locations are refined together as we get closer to the day — the city-loop link above is pure inspiration to get us started.
How we cover your day
Just the two of us — one photographer and John on film — with you from the morning through to the reception. Here’s how a single team covers a full day without missing what matters, and what changes as you move up the collections.
One team, all day
Both preparations sit at Meriton Suites Pitt Street — the East and West suites, across the hall from each other. That’s the whole reason one team works here: we move between the two rooms in the morning rather than splitting into two crews, then travel with you through the ceremony, the city loop and the reception as one unit.
The one lever
On the day, we’re also your timekeepers — the ones who’ll say “let’s move now” so the train, the sundown at the Opera House and the light all line up. We don’t make the day longer; we make sure you’re present in the time you’ve got.
Your films — and your photographs
A few ways to relive the day, from a quick share to the full record. Tap through a real example of each — yours will be shaped around your own moments and music.
Teaser Film
A 45–60 second clip, delivered within two weeks of the wedding — the first taste while the day is still fresh, and lovely to share. In both vertical and horizontal formats.
Highlight Film
A cinematic edit — five to six minutes, or a longer eight-minute cut — shaped around your vibe, your music and the moments that matter most. The film you sit down and share; style and pace settled together at your creative planning session.
Episode-Length Film
A 30–40 minute edit that sits between the highlight and the full documentary — the long story with the fast-forward parts pulled out. The core moments, beautifully paced, easy to rewatch. Available as an add-on to any collection.
Documentary Film
The deepest record of the day — the full ceremony, the entrances, all the speeches and the dancing kept at length. The archive you park for years, then return to as the film that gains value with time. Included in the Full Collection.
A full wedding gallery
Photographs are a way to relive the day too. No cap on how many we take — a complete, professionally edited gallery in both colour and black & white, in a clean online gallery you can download, share and keep for good.

Add-ons
A few things you can fold into any collection. Nothing here is decided now — we add it straight to your quote, and some of it you can even decide after the wedding.
Episode-Length Film
The middle ground — more depth than the highlight, more watchable than a full documentary. Either a 30–40 minute chronological cut, or an up-to-20-minute love story woven around your own words.
Basic Documentary
The core moments in one fuller film, up to 1.5 hours — full ceremony, the entrances and first dance bracket, all the speeches, and 2–4 minutes of dancing highlights. Built into the Full Collection, or added to either of the others.
Radiant Leather Album
A 14″ × 10″ heirloom album, 40 sides, handmade in New Zealand by Queensberry’s artisans. Reserve it for $500 now to lock the $1,700 price; the remaining $1,200 is invoiced later, once you’ve flagged your favourites. Can be added any time, even after the wedding.
You experience your wedding three times
Before
In the planning — the run sheet we build together, the creative session where we settle the music and the feel, so the city loop and the sundown all fall into place.
The Day
As it happens — present for the real moments, out of the way, keeping you moving just enough that you’re there for all of it rather than rushing through it.
For Life
In the years after — the highlight you share now, and the record you return to when you want to sit back in the day. As you said: something to look back on when you’re old and grey.
Some moments reveal their value only with time.
