St Spyridon, Kingsford Linseed House, The Grounds Photo & Film by CineMotive

What You Told Me

The day, in your words

You found us through Georgia Elias’ wedding — another Linseed day. You’re both St Spyridon people, marrying in the church you both grew up walking into, and you’re covering photo and film as one connected team. Here’s what came through most clearly on our call.

The reception, above all

Where the night lives

The church and the photos move fast — you said it yourself. The reception is where the structure sits: the entrances, the speeches, the family, the floor. That’s the part you most want to relive.

A night told through its music

Chapter by chapter

English early, some hip-hop, something heavier later — each bracket its own moment. We cut the floor so the night reads in order: where it started, where it built, and every bit of chaos in between.

Prep, kept light

Turning up close to dressed

No long getting-ready block and no makeup shots — just the suit and the dress on the rack, the last details, and the room before you leave. Enough to set the morning, not a feature of it.

Footage to make your own

Yours to cut, too

You edit — so beyond the finished films you get every RAW file and the project file. Pull the ceremony from a second angle, build your own dance-floor compilation, go as deep as you like.

Backdrops with character

The Paddington lean

The medieval-stone feel of Paddington Reservoir was your pick — and with a long window between church and reception, there’s room for a second stop nearby if you want the variety.

A look that’s yours

Clean, then tuned

Our base is a clean, timeless edit — consistent skin tones from morning light to reception glow. Share the reference looks you’re drawn to and we tune the grade toward them together.

Flow of the Day

How the day moves

Everything pivots around a 12:30 ceremony. With an early start you have a generous window between church and reception — no rush on photos, room to breathe.

10:00 am · Morning

Preparations

Bride — Kingsford, from 10:00 am  ·  Groom — Maroubra, from 10:30 am

Both homes running at once — a crew at each, kept light: the details, the last touches, the room before you leave.

12:30 – 2:00 pm · Ceremony

St Spyridon, Kingsford

Greek Orthodox ceremony — the church you both grew up in. One crew sets quietly at the altar across two to three cameras; the other roams for the moments in between.

3:30 – 5:00 pm · Photoshoot

Paddington Reservoir — leaning

The medieval-stone look you picked. With the time you have, there’s room for a second nearby stop for variety — locked in together closer to the day.

7:30 pm – 12:00 am · Reception

Linseed House, The Grounds

The heart of your day. Entrances, speeches, the cake and first dance, then the floor — music bracket to music bracket, right through to the exit.

Final timings and photo locations are refined together closer to the day — this is the shape, not the stopwatch.

Why Two Crews

Two crews, one lever

With both of you getting ready across two suburbs at the same time, a crew at each home isn’t an upgrade — it’s simply how your morning gets covered. Both crews then carry through the ceremony and the photoshoot. What changes between collections is how far the second crew stays into the night.

Crew One · Fixed

With you start to finish

One photographer + one cinematographer with you from the morning right through to the exit — the ceremony from the altar side across two to three cameras, the full record of the day, and the last frames of the night.

Morning → Reception end, ~12:00 am

Crew Two · The Lever

The multi-angle crew

The second crew is what buys the dynamic coverage — the roaming, creative shots at the ceremony, and at the reception the front-of-room angle while Crew One shoots the entrance from behind, or the top-of-gallery shot down onto your first dance. How far they run is set by your collection:

  • 1Essentials — to end of ceremonyBoth crews through the church, ~2:00 pm.
  • 2Your Story — to reception entrancesMulti-angle entrances into the room, ~8:00 pm.
  • 3Complete — to reception formalitiesSpeeches, cake and first dance, ~10:00 pm.

Ways to Relive Your Day

However you want to remember it

A few ways your day gets cut — from a 40-second teaser to the full record. Tap an example to watch it play right here.

01

Teaser Film

The Excitement

A 40–60 second showreel, vertical and horizontal, within two weeks — the quick Instagram hit while everyone still wants to see it. Included in every collection.

02

Highlight Film

The Emotion

The one you sit down and watch in five minutes, then show a cousin who’ll pay attention the whole way through — the story of the day, shaped around your music and vibe. Your words, and now mine.

03

Episode-Length Film

The Experience

The in-between — 30 to 40 minutes, the day stripped to its watchable bits with music where it needs it. Not in your collections (you leaned to the five and the documentary), but here if you ever change your mind.

04

Documentary Film

The Memories in Full

The deepest record — full ceremony, the formalities, and the floor at real length, music bracket by music bracket. This is where the reception you care most about lives in full.

Your Photo Edit

Choose how your photos feel

Every gallery is graded to one consistent look, from morning light to reception glow. Our base is clean and timeless — but if your eye leans darker and more filmic, we tune the whole edit that way. Send us the reference images you’re drawn to and we settle it together.

Our signature

Timeless

Clean, true-to-life colour and natural skin tones — nothing overcooked. It’s the look most of our couples choose because it doesn’t date: open the gallery in ten years and it still feels like the day, not the year it was edited. This is the default across your collection.

Deeper & filmic

Moody

Richer contrast, deeper shadows, a cooler and more atmospheric grade. A restrained, filmic finish for a darker feel — leaned into in the edit and tuned to the references you share.

See each style in a gallery →

A set of images in each edit — timeless and moody — so you can see the feel of each before you choose.

Optional Add-Ons

If you want a little more

None of these are needed — they’re here for the parts you were curious about, and they can be added any time.

Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

$850

A relaxed hour or two before the wedding — save-the-date shots, and a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the day itself. Already included in the Complete Collection.

You were open to it — here if you decide you’d like it.

Fine-Art Leather Album

A hand-bound 40-side heirloom album, 14″ × 10″, on genuine silver-halide paper in a presentation box. Priced flat — and it can be added any time, including well after the wedding.

Left out for now — you’re scrapbookers — with the door open whenever you want it.

Episode-Length Film

$2,500

The 30–40 minute in-between — more than the highlight, lighter than the full documentary, with music where it needs it and a good stretch of the reception floor.

You leaned to the five and the documentary — here only if that changes.

The Long View

You experience your wedding three times

Before

In the planning

The choices you’re making now — the flow, the crews, how you want to relive the night. Getting these right is what lets the day run calm rather than rushed.

The Day

As it happens

The church, the stone at Paddington, the entrances, the floor moving bracket to bracket. Our job is to hold the timeline so you’re present in it, not managing it.

For Life

In the years after

You said you might not rewatch the long edit often — and that’s honest. But it’s the record that quietly gains weight: the one family returns to, the one that outlasts the memory of the day itself.

“Some moments reveal their value only with time.”

The years don’t decide what mattered — they reveal what already did. That’s the whole reason to keep the full record now, even for the parts you can’t yet picture returning to.
